There have been 7 snapshots released in this timeframe (0510, 0512, 0514, 0516, 0517, 0520 and 0521).<\/p>\n<p>The major changes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GNOME 3.32.2<\/li>\n<li>Linux kernel 5.0.13, 5.1.2 &amp; 5.1.3<\/li>\n<li>QEmu 4.0.0<\/li>\n<li>Libvirt 5.3.0<\/li>\n<li>Wireshark 3.0.1<\/li>\n<li>KDE Frameworks 5.58.0<\/li>\n<li>KDE Applications 19.04.1<\/li>\n<li>openSSL 1.1.1b<\/li>\n<li>PostgreSQL 11.3<\/li>\n<li>Systemd 242<\/li>\n<li>GCC9 is now providing the base C-Libraries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The next days\/weeks will bring these changes, that are currently worked on in Staging areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GCC 9.1 as default compiler for the whole distro<\/li>\n<li>Qt 5.13 (once the beta phase is over)<\/li>\n<li>Linux kernel 5.1.4<\/li>\n<li>Mozilla Firefox 67<\/li>\n<li>CMake 3.14: zypper fails to build (fix is in git, but not submitted yet)<\/li>\n<li>SWIG 4.0: https:\/\/bugzilla.opensuse.org\/show_bug.cgi?id=1135746<\/li>\n<li>LLVM 8<\/li>\n<li>TeXLive 2019<\/li>\n<li>KDE Plasma 5.16 (currently also in beta)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers, Another weekly review was skipped &#8211; and I am thus once again reporting over a timespan of two weeks.
