Well, more updates in one snapshot, but nothing lost.<\/p>\n<p>The snapshots contained updates like<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Linux kernel 4.18.11 &amp; 4.18.12 (two snapshots, two kernels? oh yeah!)<\/li>\n<li>Samba 4.9.1<\/li>\n<li>Squid 4.3<\/li>\n<li>KDE Plasma 5.14.0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And these things are being worked on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GNOME 3.30 (likely to ship next week, but with GDM 3.28.x as we faced issues with autologin with the 3.30 branch)<\/li>\n<li>glibc 2.28, Python 3.7, openssl 1.1.1: the three all interdepend on each other and cause a bunch of new failures \u2013 See Staging:C<\/li>\n<li>go 1.11<\/li>\n<li>ncurses 6.1-20180707: breaks Xen (deprecations added, Xen builds with -Werror)<\/li>\n<li>LLVM 7<\/li>\n<li>Even more recent Linux kernels<\/li>\n<li>Mesa 18.2.x (VLC crashes need to be investigated)<\/li>\n<li>KDE Applications 18.08.2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers, This week, only two snapshots have been published (1004 and 1009); 1008 would have been good too, but it stayed too long in testing and was overtaken by OBS building 1009 a bit faster than openQA could test it.
