Since the last review, we had 6 snapshots (0721..0726). Even though 0721 was synced out to the mirrors (after passing openQA) the bot forgot to send out the announcement email; the changes were then included in the announcement for the 0722 snapshot.<\/p>\n<p>The 6 snapshots brought these updates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mesa 17.1.5<\/li>\n<li>GStreamer 1.12.2<\/li>\n<li>KDE Frameworks 5.36.0<\/li>\n<li>libzypp version in preparation for a repo-type change (repository type change is planned for End of August, giving you ~ 4 weeks to update until you will have to manually fix things if missed)<\/li>\n<li>LibreOffice 5.4.0.2<\/li>\n<li>KDE Applications 17.04.3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What can you expect in the upcoming snapshots:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>systemd 234 &#8211; snapshot 0727\u00a0 already had it merged, but it was reverted (snapshot not published) as a boot issue with separate \/usr partitions was identified. The issue has been identified and a fix is in the makings. Expect the update in any of the next updates after 0729.<\/li>\n<li>Linux Kernel 4.12.x: after the issues of the raid10 blocks, no final submission could be merged yet (updates come in quicker than we can build\/test)<\/li>\n<li>Apache 2.4.27<\/li>\n<li>RPM update, with the new %pkg_vcmp macros included (assisting in applying patches based on package versions present instead of arbitrary suse_version)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please be informed that Tumbleweed will be in the capable hands of Max Lin and Ludwig Nussel during the next two weeks; I will be trying to chase some sun with my motorbike.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers, The &#8216;dry period&#8217; is over and Tumbleweed snapshots started coming in again after the &#8217;10-day break&#8217;.
