But first, at this place, a big THANK YOU to SUSE for the new openQA worker machine. It&#8217;s a pleasure to watch it run through a full openQA run of a snapshot in just about three hours.<\/p>\n<p>Since last time, we released snapshots 0218, 0222, 0223 and 0224. And you can already see, we seem to be back on a much better release drum beat.<\/p>\n<p>What interesting updates did those snapshots bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KDE Applications 15.12.2<\/li>\n<li>KDE Framework 5.19.0<\/li>\n<li>Linux kernel 4.4.1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thins currently brewing in the staging areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Linux kernel 4.4.2<\/li>\n<li>KDE &#8216;discover&#8217; &#8211; The KDE Software Center (based on appdata)<\/li>\n<li>openLDAP2 with password policy check<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And also for this week, I have (unfortunately) a note-worthy bug to mention:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>While updating your system, the package &#8216;xdm&#8217; causes a session loss, causing your update call to halt mid-way (<a href=\"https:\/\/bugzilla.opensuse.org\/show_bug.cgi?id=968405\" title=\"boo#968405\" target=\"_blank\">boo#968405<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers, We&#8217;re back on a weekly report &#8211; after all, there were some snapshots now.
