{"id":363,"date":"2015-10-30T15:13:32","date_gmt":"2015-10-30T14:13:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dominique.leuenberger.net\/blog\/?p=363"},"modified":"2015-11-02T15:28:01","modified_gmt":"2015-11-02T14:28:01","slug":"opensuse-tumbleweed-review-of-the-week-201544","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dominique.leuenberger.net\/blog\/2015\/10\/opensuse-tumbleweed-review-of-the-week-201544\/","title":{"rendered":"openSUSE Tumbleweed \u2013 Review of the week 2015\/44"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers,<\/p>\n<p>Week 44 was a hectic one in the light of Leap (preparations of Goldmaster), so not too much happened on the Tumbleweed side&#8230; &#8216;only&#8217; one release (20151022), but that one has been packaged with a lot of goodies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KDE Applications 15.08.2<\/li>\n<li>KDE Framework 5.15.0<\/li>\n<li>Plasma 5.4.2<\/li>\n<li>gcc 5.2.1<\/li>\n<li>Qt 5.5.1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The next snapshot to be released is 20151030 (if openQA agrees with us); it is bringing you those nice updates<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mesa 11.0.4<\/li>\n<li>GNOME 3.18.1<\/li>\n<li>Linux kernel 4.2.4<\/li>\n<li>Libreoffice 5.0.3 &#8211; the version update is probably less interesting than the fact that the GTK3 UI-module, which was responsible for most crashes, has been split in a sep. package for developers<\/li>\n<li>XOrg 1.17.4<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently, I don&#8217;t see a lot of interesting things happening in the staging areas. There are of course updates of many packages queued up already.
