Developers and packagers are back in force, pushing a steady stream of submissions our way. As always, every change is carefully reviewed, staged, tested, and evaluated before release. The result: just under 500 submissions processed in a single week, shipped across five snapshots \u2014 0102, 0103, 0105, 0106, and 0108.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most relevant changes released this week include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SDL 3.4.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ALSA 1.2.15.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>xfsdump 3.2.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>xterm 406<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inkscape 1.4.3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ruby 4.0 \u2014 all <code>ruby34-rubygem-*<\/code> packages have been removed in favor of the new <code>ruby40-rubygem-*<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linux kernel 6.18.3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GNOME 49.3 components \u2014 as usual for a .3 release, only components with noteworthy fixes were updated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mesa 25.3.3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ncurses 6.6<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cURL 8.18.0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The staging projects are currently well populated, with the following updates under test:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>transactional-update 6.0.3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linux kernel 6.18.4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KDE Gear 25.12.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>xz 5.0.2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>run0-wrapper, available as an optional sudo replacement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers, The holiday lull is over, and Factory is buzzing again.
